Choral Society rings in season with 'Sounds of Christmas'

"Sounds of Christmas" is the theme of the Hilton Head Choral Society's 42nd annual holiday concert, set for 8 p.m. Dec. 15 at First Presbyterian Church, 540 William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head Island.

This joyful holiday treat features Vivaldi's jubilant "Gloria," along with songs from favorite Christmas movie soundtracks and arrangements of traditional carols. The Choral Society's signature "Lowcountry 12 Days of Christmas" will again take its place of honor during the evening.

Those attending can join the musical merrymaking during an audience sing-along of favorite carols.

The concert has long been a favorite event of the holidays since its very first year. The Choral Society was formed in 1975 specifically to perform Handel's "Messiah."

Tickets are $25 to $40 for adults and $10 to $20 for children. Visit www. or call 843-341-3818 for tickets or more information.
