Home Builders Association hosts show, parade of homes

The 33rd annual Lowcountry Home and Garden Show will be held March 16-18 at Buckwalter Recreation Center, 905 Buckwalter Parkway in Bluffton. The event is free and open to the public.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The exhibition will host more than 100 exhibits with the latest in home and garden trends, design and renovation ideas, workshops and seminars. Kids' workshops and activities will be provided.

A special Farmers Market will be held Sunday.

In addition, many local experts will be on hand to answer home improvement questions. Guests can see and experience the offerings of exhibitors from flooring to roofing, cabinets to doors, pools to plants, and nearly everything in between.

In addition to the show, the 2018 Lowcountry Parade of Homes Tour will also be held March 16-18. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Dozens of homes and communities throughout Beaufort and Jasper counties will be featured. This year the parade is focused in the Parade of Homes Tour app, and the Parade of Homes Magazine, which provides photos, home listings and details with complete directions to home locations.

Tickets for the Parade of Homes are $5 per person and can be purchased at the Home and Garden show, or by visiting www.paradeofhomestour.com. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to local charitable organizations.

The Parade of Homes Tour gives residents and visitors the opportunity to tour some of the best homes in the area, showcasing some of the same trends in home design and landscaping, the newest advances in home appliances and technology and some of the finest craftsmanship.

The tour includes homes in varying price ranges and in many different communities throughout Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort and beyond.

Both events are presented by the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association. For more information, visit LowcountryHomeAndGardenShow.com and ParadeOfHomesTour.com, email info@hbahh.com or call 843-681-9240.
