With this feature, we seek to capture a glimpse of what your neighbors have to say about a variety of topics, issues, events - and just plain fun questions.

You might find us anywhere around town with a camera and note pad, asking simple questions and looking for thoughtful answers. If we find you, we hope you will want to participate.

At a sneak peak reception for the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra's new SoundWaves facility, we asked: "If someone were to make a movie of your life, what famous actor would you choose to play you, and why?"

Mira Scott, Hilton Head Island: "Barbra Streisand, because all my life, especially when I was younger, people told me I looked like her. And she's such a talented woman - singer, actor, producer, director."

Mary Briggs, Hilton Head Island: "I think Helen Mirin. I've always admired her, because she seems to play women of conviction and integrity."

Francesca Landgraf, Bluffton: "Maybe a younger Goldie Hawn, because I love her personality, her bubbliness."

Mary Coyman, Bluffton: "Sally Field. She's petite like me, and I loved her in 'The Flying Nun' when I was younger. She has a strong personality."

Dick Males, Hilton Head Island: "In my fantasy, it would be Marlon Brando, because he's a cool guy, and he got to play opposite Katherine Hepburn."
