The Mary Green Chorale will present a concert celebrating the sacred and secular music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, in Bluffton.
The performance, titled “Mozart à la Carte,” is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Lowcountry Presbyterian Church, located at 10 Simmonsville Road. The program will be presented by Mary Green Chorale under the direction of artistic director Mary Woodmansee Green.
The concert will feature selections written for mixed chorus, men’s and women’s chorus, solos and small ensembles, accompanied by a professional string quintet. Karen Ball will join the ensemble on piano and organ. As is customary for the chorale, the performance will include commentary to provide musical and historical context throughout the program.
The first half of the concert, described as “The Religious Mozart,” will include selections from Mozart’s early Missa Brevis, the Grand Mass in C minor and his Requiem, along with well-known works such as Laudate Dominum and Ave Verum.
The second half, “The Secular Mozart,” will feature excerpts sung in English from three of the composer’s operas: “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Don Giovanni” and “The Magic Flute.”
Several members of the chorale will be featured as soloists during the performance.
Tickets are $30 for open seating. Tickets are available in advance at Burke’s Main Street Pharmacy locations on Hilton Head Island and in Bluffton, as well as at Markel’s Card & Gift Shop in Bluffton.
